Lionshead Business: Tim Robbins, Lionshead Liquor Store
Assessment Findings: The plan was to remove all of the dated T12 fluorescent lighting in both the ceiling and the walk-in coolers.
Energy Efficiency Project: Working with R&A Enterprises out of Glenwood Springs, Tim was able to find a high efficiency LED solution for both situations. The new product, installed in the ceiling, was a LED retrofit that did not require removal of the fixtures themselves just the ballasts and lamps.
Resource Savings: Lionshead Liquor is saving 7,770 kWH/year which translates to approximately $620 a year!
Benefit: After completing this work Tim was not only satisfied with the improved appearance of the lighting in his coolers and workspace but also with the signifigant energy savings. Tim was able to utilize Energy Smart and Holy Cross rebates which covered 50% of the project costs.
